Drivers will see a toll increase on the Golden Gate Bridge starting July 1 as part of a multiyear toll increase to fund bridge and maintenance operations.
The toll rate for drivers with FastTrak will jump from $9.75 to $10.25, while the carpool toll rate will increase from $7.75 to $8.25. The new toll rates will vary based on the type and the number of people in the vehicle.
Most Golden Gate buses and Golden Gate Ferry fares will increase by 25 cents starting on July 1, according to the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District.
Elsewhere in the Bay Area, AC Transit is increasing fares by 25 cents starting next month.
AC Transit said the 25-cent increase is part of a second phase of fare increases that its board approved in March of last year. A single-ride fare will cost $3 for riders paying in cash. Riders who pay with Clipper or a contactless payment will pay $2.75.
Fares across all San Francisco Ferry routes will increase starting next month.
BART will increase the parking rates at seven of its stations starting July 1. The daily rates will increase at Glen Park, Rockridge, Walnut Creek, and West Oakland stations. At Glen Park, the daily rate will increase by 50 cents, from $6.50 to $7.
Additionally, the single- and multiday reserved parking rates will increase at Rockridge, San Bruno, and Walnut Creek stations, according to BART.
