Noises Off is a slapstick comedy that follows a dysfunctional British theater troupe struggling to stage the farce Nothing On. Both onstage and behind the scenes are missed cues, misplaced props, and romantic entanglements. Through Saturday. Tickets from $52.

Conspiracy of Beards
Conspiracy of Beards

The San Francisco Leonard Cohen Festival is a three-night tribute series with a different theme, performers, and venue each night, including A Conspiracy of Beards, a 30-plus a cappella all-male choir that exclusively performs Cohen’s songs. Through Sunday. Tickets from $40 and change.

Enjoy German food and drinks, games, live performances, and a lantern-lighted walk through the charming streets of Eureka Valley at the German Autumn Lantern Festival, which supports the German International School of Silicon Valley. Free admission.

La Cocina
La Cocina

La Cocina’s Street Food Festival returns after a five-year absence to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Enjoy the food of over 25 La Cocina businesses, live music and entertainment, crafts and gifts by local artisans, cooking demos, and family-friendly activities. At China Basic Park through Sunday. Tickets: from $14 and change.

For an alternative to that pumpkin spice latte, celebrate the season at the San Francisco Fall Cider Fest, with a sleepover camp theme, where you can taste your way through unlimited pours of over 30 cider varieties. Enjoy gourmet food vendors, games, live music, and more, like a firepit and s’mores. Ages 21 and over. Through Sunday (when families are welcome) at Spark Social. Tickets from $50.

The 27th annual San Francisco International Hip Hop Dance Festival will feature artists from around the world, showcasing works from krumping, dancehall, popping, and other dance styles. Through Sunday at the Palace of Fine Arts. Tickets from $61.

The Salute to Veterans Day Parade will honor and celebrate the contributions of all who have served and will feature marching bands, color guards, and others. 11 a.m. along the Embarcadero. Free viewing.

Monday, Nov. 10

The Union Square Ice Rink is open! Enjoy one-hour sessions beginning every 90 minutes. Also, check out the site for special events like the Silent Skate, Polar Bear Skate, and more. Through Jan. 19. Tickets from $17.

Tuesday, Nov. 11

Hear the Carpe Diem String Quartet in a Noontime Concert presentation perform a program of Dinuk Wijeratne, Paul Wianko, and Franz Schubert. 12:30 p.m. at Old St. Mary’s Cathedral. (The concert will also be live streamed.) Free, donations encouraged.

Wednesday, Nov. 12

It’s holiday market time, so check out this one by the National Association of Women Business Owners, San Francisco Bay Area, which will feature treasures from over 40 women-owned vendors. You’ll find artisan goods, food and beverages, holiday items, fashion and accessories, wellness and lifestyle products, and one complimentary beverage (available only if you RSVP). 3 to 6:30 p.m. at One Market Plaza. Tickets: $11 and change.
