Jeffrey Gibson, This Burning World | ICA SF

This Burning World, a 433-foot-long, 66-foot-high public mural by Choctaw/Cherokee artist Jeffrey Gibson, will be unveiled today on the façade of the former Bloomingdale’s on Mission Street. The mural builds on Gibson’s 2022 video installation of the same name and reimagines its stills into a tapestry, celebrating nature and our connection to the environment. Daily through January 2027.
