Friday, May 17
Epiphany, the annual dance concert presented by Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts (SOTA) showcases original works by the students and the artists in residence. An hour prior to each performance in the lobby of Cowell Theater at Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture, guests can enjoy SOTA-Palooza, with art, music, design, and theatrics. Tickets $20–$25

The Glass Menagerie
One of Tennessee Williams’s most popular works, this production by the San Francisco Playhouse about a dysfunctional family as it struggles with poverty during the 1930s follows a faded Southern Belle as she tries to find a suitor for her shy, disabled daughter has been lauded by critics. Through June 15. Tickets $30–$125

Saturday, May 18
The 3nd Annual Indonesian Bazaar celebrates AAPI Heritage Month and the 75th anniversary of Indonesia and USA bilateral relations in a curated food and art event brings together Asian American and Pacific Islander small businesses selling food, coffee, and art. For the bird lovers among us, Amy Tan, will be in conversation with environmentalist-artist John Muir Laws at the Sidney Goldstein Theater, and will discuss how birding in her backyard has provided peace and wisdom during these troubling times, which is also the subject of her latest book, The Backyard Bird Chronicles, featuring her own sketches. Sunday, May 19
The iconic Bay to Breakers never disappoints for participants or spectators alike. Run it, relay it, centipede it, walk it, watch it, or dance it to the finish — or just enjoy the after-party. Entry $95–$975, or free viewing

Funny Girl
There’s still time to see this revival about the indominable comedienne and entertainer Fanny Brice who became a Broadway star in spite of everyone telling her she had no talent. Through May 26 at the Orpheum Theatre. Tickets $55–$160 and $40–$125 here
