Scores of luminaries and lurkers from the Bay Area’s political and Asian American communities celebrated the work of ABC7 news anchor and reporter Dion Lim at a reception held in her honor on July 31 at The Harborview Restaurant downtown.

Among those attending were members of the Board of Supervisors, including President Rafael Mandelman and Supervisors Matt Dorsey, Bilal Mahmood, Danny Sauter, and Stephen Sherrill; Assemblymember Catherine Stefani, Millbrae Mayor Anders Fung, San Mateo County Board of Supervisors President David Canepa, as well as veterans such as former Mayor Willie Brown and former City Administrator Bill Lee.
